HIG Modular Steel Structure Warehouse – Uruguay
Construction Unit: HIG Modular
Project Location: Uruguay Warehouse
Application Area: 10,000 m²
Completion Time: December 2023
The Uruguay Warehouse project commenced in May 2023 and was completed by the end of December 2023. Throughout the entire construction process, HIG Modular ensured a high-quality, safe, and detail-oriented approach, emphasizing adherence to the established timelines for delivery.
Design and Structure Highlights:
Dimensions and Layout:
The warehouse spans a total length of 132.1 meters and a width of 120.975 meters, offering a vast open and unobstructed internal space. The overall design is clean, modern, and spacious, with a simple yet effective layout that maximizes the use of available space.
Overhead Cranes:
Each span is equipped with four electric single-beam cranes, facilitating efficient material handling within the vertical space. These cranes provide powerful support for the company's manufacturing processes, ensuring smooth operations.
Roof Design:
The roof features a multi-ridge design with organized drainage systems, allowing for water runoff and ensuring that the roof remains durable and functional. The roof pitch is 1/20, and the roofing panels are made of 0.6mm thick galvanized steel with an aluminum-zinc coating. The panels are also lined with 75mm thick glass wool, enhancing thermal insulation and providing excellent protection against water, fire, and corrosion. The materials are durable, weather-resistant, and easy to install.
Wall Design:
The exterior walls are clad in 0.6mm thick deep gray color panels, combined with a silver-gray tone for a dual-tone effect. The panels are made from PE-coated Baosteel sheets, which are staggered in their arrangement to break up the monotony and create a dynamic, visually striking pattern. This design not only gives the warehouse a modern and distinctive look but also emphasizes the industrial aesthetic.
Seamless Integration:
The roof and wall panels are precisely joined, ensuring a clean and visually appealing finish. The corners are finished with neat and sharp angles, reinforcing the structure's strength and aesthetic value.
Architectural Aesthetics and Functionality:
The combination of the longitudinal and transverse elements of the design creates a harmonious yet distinctive building profile. The color scheme balances uniformity with strategic contrasts, offering a building that is both functional and visually captivating. The warehouse's design reflects the modern industrial era, showcasing an aesthetic that aligns with the company’s image while also meeting practical functional requirements.
The structure boasts a grand and dignified appearance with well-proportioned proportions that evoke a sense of stability and modernity. Every aspect, from the layout to the materials, ensures that the warehouse is not just a functional space but also a standout architectural feature in Uruguay.
Conclusion:
HIG Modular's steel structure warehouse in Uruguay offers a perfect blend of cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal. Its innovative design caters to both the functional needs of industrial use and the visual identity of the business, creating a warehouse space that is both highly efficient and architecturally impressive. The project reflects the company's commitment to delivering high-quality, durable, and visually appealing steel structure solutions on time.
